About

One person, a plain idea, and nothing for sale.

What this site is, who makes it, and the things it will never do to you. All of it, in about three minutes.

What this is

Two Truths argues one thing. You can live your ordinary life fully — family, friends, work, money, your body, rest — and at the same time find out who is living it. Not one after the other. Both at once, and the second makes you better at the first.

Not by caring less. By gripping less. This is not an exit from your life. It is a deeper entrance into it.

Who makes it

One person, working evenings. There is no organisation behind this, no centre, no group, no staff. Nothing is sold here and there is nothing to join. Nobody profits if you come back tomorrow, which is why the site is not built to make you.

Why no source is ever named

Everything on this site was worked out by people over a very long time, in many places, and none of them are named anywhere here. That is deliberate, and there are two reasons.

The first is that a teaching which arrives with a label gets sorted before it gets heard. You see where it came from, you decide in half a second whether that is your kind of thing, and you never actually check whether it is true. The label does the reading for you. Strip it off and the only test left is whether it matches your own experience, which is the only test that was ever worth anything.

The second is that an attribution asks you to trust a name. It says: believe this, because of who said it. That is an authority claim, and this site does not want to make one. Nothing here should stand because someone important said it. It should stand because you looked and found it to be so.

For the same reason nothing here is quoted. Once you have decided not to attribute anything, lifting somebody's exact words and printing them bare would be worse than either honest option. So every idea on this site is written out in plain language, in our own words. If something could not be said that way, it was cut.

The disagreements are real

This part matters. The people whose findings sit behind these pages did not all reach the same conclusion. Some said there is one reality and you are not outside it. Some said that if you look for a separate self you will not find one anywhere, and that this is good news. Some said the whole of it is a gift and the honest posture is open hands.

Those are not three ways of saying the same thing. They are genuine disagreements between careful people who tested for decades. This site does not resolve them for you, does not rank them, and does not pretend they are absent. What we do publish is the part that overlaps: what those people came back doing. That short list is on the finding page.

The ethic

What this site will never do

Nothing to join and nothing to buy. No levels, no scores, no counting the days in a row. Day forty is not better than day one, and returning after a long gap costs you nothing.

The site keeps a simple public count of what gets read, shown openly at Pulse. That is the only measuring that happens here, and you can see all of it.

That is everything. There is no next step, no offer, and no reason to keep this page open.

Nothing here is asking for your trust. It is asking you to check.

So put it to work right now, in the ten seconds before you close the tab: what is aware of these words?
